Tom is a computer animator and visual artist who came to LITE after completing his BA in Digital Media at the University of Central Florida. Born in Oxford, England, Tom grew up beside the river Thames, climbing trees and playing with his younger brother in the countryside. For as long as he can remember he has loved to draw, and that passion has developed into a more global interest in visual storytelling in all its many forms.
In October 1994, at the age of ten, Tom and his family moved to Florida intending to stay for just one year. Obviously they changed their minds about that one as they have been living in the States ever since. All throughout grade school and college, Tom's passion for visual communication continued to grow, fostered by the many art, animation, television and film production classes that he took, and through the continued support of his family and friends. Now, as a CG Artist at LITE, Tom is a part of the team responsible for generating a wide range of compelling visual content over a variety of mediums. From television commercials and short films, to interactive video games and VR simulations, Tom is eager to exercise his creativity and help generate experiences that will resonate with people both intellectually and emotionally, leaving a lasting, positive impression.
When he isn't sitting in front of a computer developing arthritis, Tom loves to be outside. He enjoys hiking, kayaking, bird-watching, and just about anything else that gives him an excuse to get away from it all for a while. He's also a giant Nintendo fan and film enthusiast, with a particular love of Indian food and cheese & Marmite sandwiches.
