Scott has been a manager and a leader for his entire life. Starting in high school in Bedford, MA, he was the commander of his JROTC unit as well as the Drill Team commander. From there he spent nearly 10 years working at Camelot Music/FYE stores as a store manager and assistant manager. After graduating from college with a BA in Digital Media from the University of Central Florida in 2002, he worked at the Media Convergence Laboratory working on cutting edge Mixed Reality technology.
At MCL, Scott worked on the various immersive project like MR MOUT (Mixed Reality for Military Operations in Urban Terrain) which was funded by the US Army. He also worked on MR Sea Creatures which was a mixed reality experience in the Orlando Science Center which brought a static dinosaur exhibit to life. During his time at MCL, he presented mixed reality experiences at Siggraph in 2003 and 2004 and at I/ITSEC (an international military conference) from 2001 to 2003. He also co-authored 2 research papers including the 2004 I/ITSEC paper called “Creating Extreme Multi-Modal Mixed Reality for Training.”
After leaving MCL in 2005, Scott went on to work for the video game maker, Electronic Arts in Orlando. During his time as a Development Manager at EA Tiburon, he worked on 3 titles including Superman Returns, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2008 and 2009. These titles were released on various platforms like the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, Xbox, and PS2.
Scott has a background in art, 3D modeling, and video editing.
When it is time to play, he is an avid golfer. In addition, he enjoys playing video games and working on creative projects like composing music and making short films. He also likes to watch movies specifically the action, sci-fi, fantasy, and epic genres or anything with gratuitous special effects or filmed on green screen.
