Kendall Litaker joined LITE as a technical artist in June 2009. Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, Kendall loves watching football and is a die-hard Carolina Panthers fan. She also enjoys reading, cooking, and all manner of arts and crafts.

Kendall graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2009 and received a Bachelor's degree in Digital Media with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida. Kendall also enjoyed many of UCF's art classes during her time there. In the elite Visual Language Program within the Digital Media Department, she was the technical director for the student short film, Atlas' Revenge. While attending UCF, she was the Secretary of the UCF Chapter of SIGGRAPH and also a student volunteer at SIGGRAPH 2008 in Los Angeles, California.

The Burnett Honors College awarded her a position in the prestigious President's Scholars Program, enabling her to study abroad at Cambridge University and take classes like Elizabeth I: Fact or Fiction. Kendall loves to travel and used her time abroad to visit Paris, Stonehenge, and London. Kendall submitted an original sculpture design for Hard Rock Park in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and it was one of four student designs chosen for further development.

While in Orlando, Kendall stumbled into a job at Sea World Adventure Park, where she worked as an educator to the park guests. By giving tours, staffing exhibits, and conducting educational programs to school groups, she taught the park guests all about the animal life at the park. It is through her work at Sea World that she discovered her love of teaching and the environment. If you have a question about marine life, its likely she knows the answer, whether its about California Sea Lions or Chocolate Chip Sea Stars.

Kendall is very happy to be at LITE and in Lafayette. She hopes to continue improving her skills as a computer artist, particularly in the realm of digital compositing. She is thankful that she gets to work in such a creative environment with a truly talented team (not to mention all of the great Cajun food in Lafayette!).
