Events

All events must be booked a minimum of two weeks in advance. Any event booked later than two weeks in advance will be subject to a late booking fee.

All events are given a set-up and takedown time of 30-minutes before and 30-minutes after the event. Any additional time that is needed for set-up and takedown must be requested and confirmed with LITE's event team. Additional charges may occur for additional requested time.

Security will be required for all events serving alcohol. If security is not present during event the LITE Event Coordinator has the right to refuse the serving of alcohol on the premises.
It is the responsibility of the event host to ensure that all guests consuming alcohol are of the legal age to of so.
The LITE Event Team will not be held responsible for the serving of minors.


Furniture Needs:

Dining furniture is available for rent onsite at LITE for your convenience. Outside furniture must be approved by LITE Event Coordinator prior to event. All furniture will be setup in Lobby unless otherwise noted. UL Departments please contact tatum.broussard@louisiana.edu for furniture pricing.

One registration table and one food/beverage table will be included with venue rental. (Linens not included)

An agenda and/or timeline of your event MUST be submitted to the LITE Event Staff. The details of the event are required to ensure a smooth execution.

LITE offers 2 Podium, 2 Handheld, and 2 Lavaliere microphones. 

It is imperative that the LITE Event Team understand the full details of your event. Please be sure to indicate all technology needs. The LITE Event Team will contact you to endure they have all the necessary information needed.
Food and drinks are prohibited in the theatre. Renting party is responsible for ensuring that no one brings food and/or drinks into the theatre.

Total Immersion Space(TIS)

The Total Immersion Space (TIS) is rented on a case-by-case basis. If your organization is interested in booking one of the venues, please contact the LITE Event Team so they can determine the appropriate needs.


If you believe that your event will require more technology than what is designated on this form, please contact a member of the LITE Event Team to discuss your technology needs.

No event shall be advertised as being held at LITE until the LITE Event Contract has been completed and signed by both parties.

The completion of this LITE Event Request Form does not confirm the requested event. It is used to determine pricing and availability. The requested event is final once a LITE Event Contract has been completed and signed by both parties.

A signed contract must be received to hold your date(s) and time(s). Full payment must be received two (2) weeks prior to event to confirm  date(s) and time(s). All Events are subject to the LITE Acceptable Venue Use Policy.
